![]() In Device Manager it only shows "High Definition Audio Device" and in PC Settings > Sound it actually lists my monitor ROG PG279Q which doesn't even have speakers and is connected to the GPU through Display Port. The problem now: Realtek is not detecting or playing sound through headphones connected through the 3.5mm jack. I've uninstalled and reinstalled different versions of Realtek drivers and nothing helped. ![]() I believe it could be that I updated Windows after the initial installation because I could see the speaker icon in Taskbar before that. ![]() Then you go into playback devices and set the Reaktek HD Audio 2nd output as your default device. The problem now: Realtek is not detecting or playing sound through headphones connected. When I connected my headphones to the audio jack, when the Realtek audio manager asks you what type of device it is, I had to click 'Headphones' instead of 'Line In' like I did with my previous headset.
